Balloon Aloft Hunter Valley:
We must have 4 confirmed passengers on a flight for it to go ahead. All bookings are subject to favourable weather conditions at the flight location.
Cancellations within 72 hours of flight result in no refund. Cancellation within 7 days of flight results in a $25 per person booking fee. Cancellations with more than 7 days notice incur a $25 per booking cancellation fee.
Quicksilver Cruises:
For cancellations within 24hrs of travel may incur a cancellation fee up to 100% of the cost of the booking.
On rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason passengers will be offered an alternative day of travel or a refund will be authorised. A change of travel date can be made to your booking without incurring any cancellation fee.
The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years. Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from diving.
Down Under Cruise & Dive:
All monies forfeited unless we are notified 48 hours prior to departure. For passengers voluntarily leaving the vessel or withdrawing from a course after day one, there will be no refund.
Cancellation of a dive course is fully refundable up until the end of day 1 only. Excluding deposit if paid.
All Tours are subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. All dives are weather permitting and operate at the Captains discretion. No refund for incomplete dives. Should a cruise not operate for any such reason passengers will be offered an alternative day or refund for days lost only.
The operator reserves the right to cancel any tour, change vehicle type or arrange an alternative carrier if the minimum numbers in a group is not sufficient.
A reef tax applies to all persons traveling to the Great Barrier Reef. This will be $20 and payable onboard.
Please be aware that snorkelling and diving may be a strenuous activity. All divers must complete a medical questionnaire on board. Some existing medical conditions and / or the taking of certain medication may exclude the individual from in-water activities. Please discuss existing medical conditions with staff prior to travel. Divers 65 yrs and over must provide a current AS4005-1 dive medical prior to travel.
Certified divers must show an internationally recognised scuba cert card. In the interest of safety we recommend that you do not fly within 24hrs of last dive.
Please consider wind strength or roughness of sea before booking. All trips/dives are weather permitting at captains /divers discretion. No refund for incompleted dives. No refund for passengers voluntarily leaving any vessel early. All monies forfeited if cancelling less than 48hrs prior to travel. Should a trip be cancelled, passengers may be offered an alternative day for lost time/trip.
Swan Valley Tours:
Swan Valley Tours reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient passenger numbers. Swan Valley Tours shall not be liable for any injuries, illness, damage, loss or delay that may be caused to the passenger and/or their belongings whilst on tour. Full payment or credit card details are required to confirm a booking. Cancellation fee is 100% within 24 hours.

Day Tours
4-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour
Within 3 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour
Camping Tours, Overnight Tours & Packages
8-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
Within 7 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
BOOKING AMENDMENTS
All booking amendments must be emailed to info@emurun.com.au
The following applies to changes to tour type or departure date of an existing booking:
8 days or more from departure – any difference in tour prices will apply
Within 7 days of departure – full cancellation fees and the full cost of the new tour will apply
If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be given.

Day Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1.5-2 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow (longer day tours only), swim wear & towel (for tours to West MacDonnell Ranges, during summer only).
Camping Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, torch (flash light), swim wear, towel, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, a small overnight bag (please leave your luggage at your Alice Springs accommodation due to space limitations on the bus).
2 Day Package
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & FOOD ALLERGIES
We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request: vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy (eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking, and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.
AGE & FITNESS LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
For our camping tours, the minimum age is 8. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care. Any packages that include dorm accommodation are not available for children, however we can create a suitable package for families upon request. We have no upper age limit on our tours, although some trips can be physically demanding. For our camping tours, a real spirit of adventure and a medium level of fitness is required as the tours are fast paced. It is important to note that Central Australia experiences extreme weather conditions during summer. Participation is required from passengers on our camping tours for things such as meal preparation and firewood collection (as requested by guide).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Emu Run recommends that all travellers take out travel insurance to protect you from costs of injury and cancellation fees.
PHOTOS & MARKETING
By booking our tours you consent to us using images of you that are taken on tour for any advertising or promotional purposes. You grant us permission to use these images royalty free for publicity and promotional purposes worldwide.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to amend the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. We accept no responsibility for loss, stolen or damaged property and recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance. Emu Run will accept no responsibility for any injury, illness or other such accident sustained whilst on tour. Any children travelling will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian. All passengers must wear shoes at all times, and be wearing hats and sunscreen.
DATA PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of your tour and to send you marketing material in relation to special offers or events. Emu Run Experience may disclose information to our agents, suppliers or service providers to enable us to operate your tour. We will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer information you have supplied to us. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
UPDATING THE CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to update and/or alter the conditions of travel and fine print at any time. It is the agent and passengers responsibility to be familiar with the most up to date conditions of travel, which are available on our website.
Nautilus Aviation:
48hrs cancellation notice required for full refund.
Tasmanian Hikes:
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Guests canceling their tour up to 8 to weeks prior, a full refund less the tour deposit [$500] will be refunded. If guests cancel a tour less that 8 weeks up until the pre-booked departure date, no refund will be given.
If guests wish to transfer their booking to another date this can be done up to 8 weeks prior only.
Should a participant/guest need to leave a tour once it has commenced, due to a medical emergency or any other reason, no refund, partial or in full, will be given.
Should Tasmanian Hikes have to cancel a tour due to lack of numbers, guests will be given 14days notice.
If we can’t offer you an alternative tour that would suit you, we will refund your payment in full less a 5% administration fee. The 5% administration fee is 5% of the tour cost.
Tasmanian Hikes reserves the right to vary, cancel or postpone a tour due to unsafe conditions such as severe weather, floods, bush fires or sudden track closures. We reserve the right to cancel a tour, in whole or in part if it is necessary to do so due to a force majeure event.
Tasmanian Hikes strongly recommends that suitable travel insurance be purchased by the traveller to cover any financial loss, due to your own cancellation, or if Tasmanian Hikes has to cancel a tour. Tasmanian Hikes will not be responsible for your travel expenses or losses arising from a cancellation.
We also strongly recommend that comprehensive travel insurance be taken out against loss of baggage or any medical expenses.
Kangaroo Island SeaLink:
Cancellation of a booking, or part thereof will incur the following fees:
· More than 30 days before departure - $50 per person
· Between 7 & 30 days before departure - $50 per person or 50% of total cost whichever is greater
· Less than 7 days before departure - $50 per person or 80% of total cost whichever is greater
· Within 24 hours of departure - 100% of total cost
No refunds will be made for services not availed once travel has commenced. All refund claims must be made in writing.
Amendment Fees: Due to the complexity, staff time & communication costs of the booking process, a charge of $22 (incl GST) may apply to each modification made after the original booking.
Air Whitsunday - Whitsundays Seaplane:
100% fee applies to services cancelled within 24 hours of departure.
Blue Mountains Explorer Bus:
All online bookings are fully refundable until the day of travel.
HIT THE ROAD TOURS PTY LTD:
No fees if cancelled 24 hours prior departure.
No refund after that.
